Sue Graddy Arnett, 92, passed away on May 30, 2024, at her home in Fayetteville, NC.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Hales and Albert Clyde Hales; son, Charles M. Arnett; and sister, Shirley Jeffries. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three sons, John A. Arnett, Jr. (Mary), Bill Arnett, and Denny Arnett (Wanda); daughter, Betsy G. Arnett; eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and four nephews.

Sue lived in the same house for all 92 years of her life, where she was born, got married, and raised her five children. She cherished every chance to visit White Lake and the beach.

Throughout her career, Sue worked at Tolar-Hart Mill and Holt-Williamson Cotton Mill for many years. She loved dancing and camping with her family. She was an extraordinary mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, adored by everyone she met.

The family will receive friends at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home on Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 4 to 6 pm. A graveside service will be held at Cross Creek Cemetery #4 on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 11 am with Pastor Nick Smith officiating.
