Susan Dale Waskey, 74, of Fayetteville passed away on July 22, 2024.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, James F. and Ada M. Beaumont; three brothers, and her husband, Richard A. Waskey. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Carlton O. Myatt, III.; son, Jayson A. Myatt; daughter, Tiffany R. Cole; grandchildren, Robert TJ Gaskins, Ahmad J. Cole, James T. Myatt, Mason C. Myatt, and Trinity A. Scott; great grandchildren, Aubriella T. Beaton, Asrielle A. Cole, Anori T. Gaskins; brother, Gary A. Beaumont; sister-in-law, Catherine F. Beaumont and three nephews.

Born in Pensacola, FL, Susan earned her associate’s degree at Pensacola State College. She met Gordon J. Myatt, Jr., with whom she had three children. They moved to Columbia, MD, where she lived for over 20 years and worked as a secretary for Electro Nucle Onyx. Later, she married Richard A. Waskey, and they remained together until his death.

Susan loved dancing, listening to music, and shopping for her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and watching black-and-white movies. Above all, she cherished time with her children and adopted children. She had a passion for flowers and was a loving mother.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 3 to 3:45 pm. A memorial service will be held at 4 pm in the Rogers and Breece Chapel with Brother Larry Chason officiating.
