Police ID driver killed by officer after Thursday traffic stop
Fayetteville Police Chief Kemberle Braden on Friday identified the motorist killed by a police officer during a Thursday traffic stop. In a press conference, Braden said 49-year-old DeMarcus Brodie of Fayetteville was shot and killed by Officer Dillon Hoke during a traffic stop that led to a physical altercation between the two.
