WoodmenLife to open Community Orchard, break ground for memorial stone
WoodmenLife will unveil its Community Orchard in a ribbon-cutting Saturday at its lodge, the culmination of a project that was begun in the aftermath of the COVID pandemic lockdown. The ceremony will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the lodge, 414 E. Mountain Drive.

75th annual Fayetteville Camellia Show returns with nearly 600 entries
After a two-year hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fayetteville Camellia Club’s annual Camellia Show & Plant Sale returned to Cape Fear Botanical Garden on March 4-5 with a display of nearly 600 camellia blooms entered in competition.
