New equipment being installed at the Dorothy D. Gilmore Adaptive Recreation Center is making the playground more accessible for residents with disabilities.
Inclusive playground opens at Hope Mills Municipal Park
Park spaces in Hope Mills will now be more accessible to disabled visitors with the opening of a playground at Municipal Park. A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Reid’s Journey Inclusive Playground was held Sept. 8 at the park, 5766 Rockfish Road, according to a release.
