
A woman’s juvenile son stabbed her boyfriend in the neck during a domestic confrontation Sunday on Bonanza Drive, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.
The stabbing was reported about 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Bonanza Drive, according to a news release.
The man’s wounds were non-life-threatening, and he was taken to a hospital for treatment, the release said.
Detectives with the Police Department’s Aggravated Assault Unit said the girlfriend struck the victim with a glass bottle. He was then stabbed in the neck by her juvenile son, investigators said.
April McRae, 32, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. She was held at the Cumberland County Detention Center under no bond, the release said.
The juvenile son was charged with attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. The juvenile was held at the Juvenile Detention Center, the release said.
