Events

The National Indoor Soccer League is pleased to announce the 2021-22 postseason structure. The NISL will host a postseason tournament in Fayetteville at the Crown Coliseum on April 2 and April 3.

The Fayetteville Fury will play the Memphis Americans on April 1 at 5:30 p.m. at the Crown Coliseum, 1960 Coliseum Drive.

The Gilbert Theater presents "Othello" March 25 - April 10. The theater is at 116 Green St. For more information, go to Gilberttheater.com.

'Clue: On Stage'

Cape Fear Rear Regional Theatre will present "Clue: On Stage" March 24 through April 10. The show is inspired by the board game and film. The All-American Tattoo Convention is scheduled for April 15-17 at the Crown Expo, 1960 Coliseum Drive.  Hours are  2  to 11 p.m. on April 15, noon to 11 p.m. on April 16  and noon to 8 p.m. on April 17.

The Fayetteville Sports Club will hold a dual Hall of Fame ceremony this year for its classes of 2021 and 2022. No ceremony was held in 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The club will honor all 11 inductees at this year’s banquet on March 30 at Highland Country Club.

The Airborne & Special Operations Museum will host a communitywide remembrance “Vietnam War: Reflections of Courage” from March 25 to March 29. The focus of this event will be an outdoor exhibit called The Moving Wall, which is a replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C.

The Monster Truckz Extreme Tour will be at the Crown Complex arena March 25-27.  The Crown is at 1960 Colisuem Drive. Shows are March 25,  7 p.m.;  March  26,  2 p.m. and 7 p.m.; and March 27,  2 p.m.

The Fayetteville Beach Music Festival is scheduled for 1 to 7 p.m. March 27 at Dirtbag Ales Brewery and Taproom,  5435 Corporation Drive, Hope Mills.    General admission tickets are $20 per person. Proceeds benefit the Karen Chandler Trust, which helps local cancer patients. Food trucks will be on site.

Angelyric Productions presents "Ladies Night Out" on March 26 at 6:00 p.m. at John Reeves Fine Arts Building, 5400 Ramsey Street. Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite for $20.  The show …

The Phoenix Center is asking men to walk in heels down Hay Street in support of victims of sexual violence. The Walk Awhile in Their Shoes event is scheduled for March 25 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The 2022 WIDU Anniversary Festival of Praise is scheduled for April 30 at 4 p.m. at the Crown Coliseum, 1960 Coliseum Drive. Grammy-winning recording artists Fred Hammond, Israel Houghton and Hezekiah Walker are scheduled to perform. 

An Elevate Your Brand marketing workshop is scheduled for March 30 at Cape Fear Botanical Garden. There will be two sessions: one at 9 a.m. and another at 1 p.m. Beth Hess, a messaging coach and owner of Keys to Your Brand Consulting, will lead the sessions.

The public can visit the historic home of Dr. E.E. Smith during an open house March 25 from noon to 3 p.m. The house is at 135 Blount St. Admission is free.

The Community Cohesion Committee (C3) benefit concert is scheduled for March 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Segra Stadium, 460 Hay St.  Admission is $10.  Proceeds will benefit families in Fayetteville and the surrounding areas. Synder Music Academy students are scheduled to perform. 

Red Cross Ball

The Red Cross Ball will be a virtual event on March 26 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Join us as we party for a purpose and celebrate the lifesaving mission of the American Red Cross in Eastern North Carolina and the Sandhills Chapter.

  The  Cumberland County GOP Annual Fundraiser is scheduled for April 10 at 4 p.m. at the Crown Ballroom, 1960 Coliseum Drive.

The Harlem Globetrotters return to Fayetteville with their Spread Game Tour on April 13 at 7  p.m. at the Crown  Coliseum, 1960  Coliseum Drive. 

The Bibles and Bags Women's Conference is scheduled for March 18-19 at the Crown Coliseum, 1960 Coliseum Drive.  Hours are 6:30 p.m. March 18 and  6 p.m. March 19.

Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Jeremy Camp brings his "I Still Believe Tour" to the Crown Theatre on March 19 at 7 p.m. The crown is at 1960 Coliseum Drive. Riley Clemmons and Jordan St. Cyr are the opening acts.

 Green Side Up Garden & Gift Center will present a Spring Flowers Paint Class March 19 from  1 to 3:30 p.m. at 3783 Wilmington Hwy.  Tickets are $28 and include supplies, a pre-traced 11 x 14 canvas and step-by-step instructions. 

NC CVMA® 15-1 Annual Memorial Ride and Dedication on March 19 at Fort Bragg Harley-Davidson,  3950 Sycamore Dairy Road. Free to attend the ceremony and visit with vendors. Registration is for the memorial ride only.
