The search continues for missing Fayetteville residents Blake and London Deven, with investigators asking the public last week to help construct a timeline of interactions with the Deven family.
Hereβs the timeline thus far in the circumstances surrounding the case:
- 2015 β Avantae Deven and her family move to Fayetteville.
- June 5, 2019 β Avantae Devenβs LLC, Nelson & Johnson, purchases a home on Berriedale Drive. Deven still resides there.
- June 6, 2019 β London Deven is last seen alive in Fayetteville, though the location where she was seen has not been made public.
- Aug. 1, 2022 β Blake Deven is last seen alive, though it is unclear where he was last seen. Avantae Deven says she last heard from him when he called her from a store either on Pamalee Drive or Ramsey Street.
- Jan. 19, 2024 β Deven reports her son missing at 1:17 p.m.
- March 27 β The Fayetteville Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation search three Fayetteville locations as part of the investigation into Blakeβs disappearance.
- March 28 β The Fayetteville Police Department issues a news release about Blakeβs disappearance.
- March 30 β Cape Fear Valley Medical Center sends a welfare check to Devenβs home when she does not respond to staffersβ calls about her motherβs care, but no one answers the door.
- April 4 β An additional missing person tied to the Deven case is reported at 11:43 a.m. The victimβs name is redacted; it is unclear whether this is the report of Londonβs disappearance. The Fayetteville Police Department announces London is also missing.
- April 12 β Police announce the discovery of βpartial skeletal remainsβ at an undisclosed location (not the Devensβ Berriedale Drive home).
- April 18 β The Fayetteville Police Department issues a news release asking for the publicβs help to compile a timeline of when Blake and London were last seen.
