Adam Culbreth, 46, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

Adam was born on July 27, 1979, in Cumberland County. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing sports and was a devoted Carolina Tar Heels fan. When his health permitted, he found great joy and peace in fishing, a hobby he truly loved.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Blake and Shirley Culbreth.

Adam is survived by his beloved son, Austin Culbreth, of the home; his mother, Reena Culbreth, of the home; his brother, Joey Culbreth, and wife Amber of Knoxville, Tennessee; his niece, Macy Culbreth, of Knoxville, Tennessee; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory.

A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Adam’s life will be held from 1:30-3 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. 3527 Dundle Road Fayetteville, N.C.
