A juvenile employee of a Subway in Spring Lake was injured Wednesday after a customer shot the employee following an altercation between staff and the woman, according to Spring Lake police.
The police department responded to the Subway on Murchison Road at around 5 p.m. Wednesday, where they found the juvenile employee inside suffering from a gunshot wound, according to a press release.
Fayetteville resident Alisa Jewel Reed, 37, was charged with multiple felony counts. CBS 17 reported Thursday that those felony counts include: attempted first-degree murder, discharging a weapon in occupied property, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or cause serious injury, assault by pointing a gun and communicating threats.
Reed was taken into custody by the Fayetteville Police Department and is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center without bond. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with any information related to this incident is asked to contact the Spring Lake Police Department at (910) 436-0350.
