
The city of Fayetteville and Cumberland County have partnered to host basic to intermediate computer skills classes throughout the year, according to a city news release.
The next class, on basic Microsoft skills, is April 11.
The cityโs Economic and Community Development Departmentโs goal is to build a stronger economy and community for all residents, the release said.
It partners with Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks & Recreation to offer the classes, and Cumberland County Public Library employees lead the training.
All classes are held at Smith Recreation Center, 1520 Slater Ave., and run from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
Upcoming computer classes include.
- April 11:ย Microsoft Excel basic.
- April 13:ย Microsoft Word intermediate.
- May 9:ย Zoom.
- May 11:ย Google Docs.
- Sept. 12: Google Drive.
- Sept. 14: Google Forms.
- Oct. 3:ย Shopping online.
- Oct. Email basic.
- Nov. 7: Facebook.
- Nov. 14: Online safety and security.
- Dec. 5: Basic computer use.
- Dec. 12: Laptop basics.ย
