An online survey is available to the community to get input as the Cumberland County Board of Education continues the search for a new superintendent.
The community has had a chance to offer insight through a series of forums in recent weeks. The survey offers another chance to let the board know what is wanted in a new Cumberland County Schools leader.
The Superintendent Search Survey is designed to get community input and gain perspectives on the qualities, experience and priorities that a superintendent ought to have.
βCommunity involvement is essential in this process,β Deanna Jones, the board chair, said in a news release. βWe encourage everyone to take a few moments to complete the survey and help us select a superintendent who will best serve out students, families and staff.β
Superintendent Marvin Connelly announced in December that he is retiring June 30 from the post he has held since 2018.
The survey is available through 11:59 p.m. Sunday. All responses are anonymous.
