A CrimeStoppers tip about drug activity led to the arrest of four men and the seizure of methamphetamine, Fentanyl and cocaine, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

In July, the Narcotics/Vice Suppression Unit received a tip about drug activity at a house in the 3500 block of Carlos Avenue, according to a news release. Detectives learned that multiple people in the residence were selling drugs, including a fugitive wanted for a sex offender parole violation.  

On Aug. 22, detectives searched the residence with the assistance of the department’s Emergency Response Team and Community Engagement Response Team and the State Bureau of Investigation. They found eight adults and two pit bull dogs inside the residence, according to a news release.

Investigators seized: 

  • 100 grams of methamphetamine. 
  • 6 grams of Fentanyl.  
  • 19 grams of cocaine. 

 Four men were arrested, the release said. 

Keith Turlington, 46, is charged with two counts of trafficking in methamphetamine; possession with the intent to sell cocaine; possession with the intent to sell drugs; and maintaining a dwelling for drug trafficking. 

Jamale Johnson, 42, is charged with possession with the intent to sell cocaine; possession with the intent to sell methamphetamine; and three counts of trafficking in Fentanyl. Johnson also had three warrants for arrest for sex offender violations and one for larceny, the release said. 

James Weaver, 47, is charged with possession of drugs and possession of methamphetamine. 

Raymond Stebbins Jr., 43, is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
