The Fayetteville-Cumberland County CrimeStoppers Association will host its annual barbecue fundraiser on Friday.
Plates will be sold from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday in front of Harris Teeter supermarket at Highland Centre on Raeford Road, according to a Fayetteville Police Department news release.
Plates are $10 and include barbecue pork, potato salad, coleslaw, and a dinner roll.
Proceeds will support the local CrimeStoppers chapter and its anonymous crime tips program.
CrimeStoppers partners with local law enforcement agencies to take an active role in fighting crime in the community, the release said. People can submit tips by phone at 910-483-TIPS or online at CrimeStoppers.org.
If the information leads to an arrest or charges being filed in a case, the tipster is eligible for a reward, the release said.
