A 17-year-old died Friday night after being shot multiple times on Yadkin Road, the Fayetteville Police Department said.
Around 7:41 p.m., officers responded to a reported shooting in the parking lot on the 5700 block of Yadkin Road.
Officers found a male teen who had been shot multiple times. He was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center but died as a result of his injuries, police said in a release.
Police said they are not releasing his name because of his age.
