James Thomas “Buddy” Herring. Sr.

James Thomas “Buddy” Herring. Sr., of Danbury, CT, formerly of Wade, passed away on, Friday, December 08, 2023 in Greenwich Hospital in Greenwich, CT.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 1pm at Herring Funeral Care & Cremations Chapel. Burial will follow in Rockfish Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife, Polly McNair Herring of the home. His children, James Herring, Jr. of Wappinger Falls, NY and  Jamika Ford and Jerniece Lam both of Danbury, CT. eight grandchildren; Sisters, Mary LeFever of New Farfield, CT and Margaret Geddie of Fayetteville, along with a host of nieces and nephews, including Kevin Herring  of Wade, who was raised as a brother.

A public viewing will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 3-5pm and from 11am-1pm on Saturday, prior to the service.
