Mitchell Harvey Bunnells, 58, of Fayetteville, died in Mount Gilead, North Carolina on October 24, 2023.
Mitchell was born in Cumberland County, NC. on December 8, 1964 to the late Wilburt Bunnells and Frances Clark. After earning his degree, he worked as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor then went on to work with Alliance Packaging in Raleigh, NC. Mitchell was an avid NFL Pittsburgh Steelers fan and N.C State Wolfpack fan. He enjoyed listening to bluegrass music, playing golf, and most of all, loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
Along with his parents he is proceeded in death by his sister Jacklyn Tatum (Glenn).
He is survived by his sisters; Brenda Walters (Mickey) of Grays Creek, Sharon ‟Sherry” Bunnells, of Fayetteville, NC; four special nieces, Kristie, Stephanie, Leslie, and Emily; five special nephews, Anthony, William, Nathan, Nick, and Noah; A special great niece, Ansley; two great special nephews, Maddox and Cael and many other extended family members and friends.
The Family will receive friends 2:00 PM- 3:00 PM Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Timberlake Church of God, 3515 Sturbridge Dr. Hope Mills, NC 28348
A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, October 29, 2023 at 3515 Sturbridge Dr. Hope Mills, NC 28348 with Pastor Tim Gore officiating.
