A 64-year-old motorcycle passenger was killed in a traffic collision at McArthur Road and Francam Drive on Friday, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.
Evelyn Coward died of her injuries at the hospital, a news release said.
The crash was reported about 1 p.m. Friday, the release said.
A preliminary investigation found that a white SUV collided with a motorcycle while making a left turn onto Francam Drive. The driver and passenger of the motorcycle were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, the release said.
The motorcycle driver was in critical condition.
The driver of the SUV did not sustain injuries, the release said.
