A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries Sunday night in a crash in the 300 block of Cedar Creek Road, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.
The crash was reported about 8:45 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release. The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital for treatment.
All lanes of Cedar Creek Road from Sapona Road to Neal Street were closed. Inbound traffic on Cedar Creek Road was diverted to Neal Street, and outbound traffic was diverted to Sapona Road.
Motorists were encouraged to use an alternate route.
