Colvin Funeral Home & Crematory…announces this earthly transition of Juanita Jones, of Fayetteville, NC, who departed this life on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the age of 94. Surviving siblings are Joan Blondell MONROE (HOUSTON), James Evander MONROE, Bruce Geary MONROE, and John Marshall CORBIN.
She would always say “you should always remember that in my heart I LOVE YOU.” Throughout her life’s journey she maintained this genuine, loving, kind Spirit. She maintained a special childhood relationship with her surviving aunt, Ernestine LUCAS NICHOLS (age 99), and uncle William Edward LUCAS (age 93). Her spiritual inspired gift was shared with her surviving sister, Ms. Joan Blondell MONROE (HOUSTON), and the many unnamed nieces, nephews, and family members. She had a continuous supportive relationship with Mr. & Mrs. Helen & Johnnie JOHNSON, Mrs. Esther STEWART (HOWARD), Ms. Patricia MCCORMICK, and Mrs. May Ann LUCAS (YOUNG).
