Traffic lights were out temporarily at several intersections on Raeford Road on Thursday morning because of a power failure, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

Power was restored by about 1:15 p.m., according to a news release.

Officers had directed traffic at larger intersections between Skibo and Strickland Bridge roads for about two hours, the news release said.

The power failure was reported about 11:15 a.m. Thursday, the release said.

Fayetteville Public Works Commission crews were called in to restore power.
