Shelia Kaye Morrison, 65, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Shelia was born in Cumberland County on April 18, 1958, the daughter of the late Lonnie Lee Morrison and Vivian Jacobs Morrison. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Daughtry Morrison.
Shelia was a very loving person who loved people, was a great sister and found pleasure serving the Lord. Shelia was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memory two brothers, Edward M. Morrison (Varonica) of Lillington, N.C., and Shell Morrison (Sherrill) of Fayetteville; one aunt, Ada Rogers of Bolton, N.C.; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Cape Fear Baptist Church, 100 Indian Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28312.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Cape Fear Baptist Church with the Revs. Ricky Burnett and Jerry Groves officiating. Burial will follow the service in Cross Creek Cemetery No. 4.
