(Editor’s note: This report has been updated with the name of the man killed and other details.)

One person was killed and four were injured in a shooting at a hookah lounge on Yadkin Road on Sunday night, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

Detectives with the Homicide Unit are investigating the shooting at EV Lounge in the 5000 block of Yadkin Road, a news release said.

The shooting was reported about 11 p.m. Sunday, according to the release.

Officers found Anthony Bradshaw, 30, dead of his injuries. Four other adults were taken to a local hospital. One is listed in critical condition, and the others had minor injuries, the release said.

Investigators said an altercation inside the business led to a shooting in the parking lot.

This is the 10th homicide in 2023, according to the news release.
