we often say see you later
a different way to say goodbye
hoping to see each other once again
before the words see you in another lifetime arrive
the ones we love never go away
they walk and look over us even on this day
in the shadows unheard but always near
as we say goodbye with a face full of tears
saying goodbye is always the hardest
as we look up amongst the stardust
the time has sadly arrived
it’s time , time to say see you in another lifetime
