Stuart Lewis, 89, of Spring Lake, passed away Monday, October 19, 2026, at his home. Born in Johnston County, he was the son of the late Julius and Avie Lewis. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Roberta Lewis.
Stuart was a dedicated local business owner for more than 60 years and was actively involved in the Masonic fraternity, the Shriners, where he served as Potentate of the Sudan Temple, and the Jesters.
He is survived by his daughter, Ramona Brown; his son, Barry Lewis, and his wife, Debra; two sisters, Shirley Rouse and Vickie Sell; four grandchildren, Joseph Brown, Ricky Brown, Devin Kinkead LeFebvre, and AJ Lewis; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Adcock Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with burial at Riverview Memorial Gardens.
