Sulema Gonzales Shelton, 80, of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
She was born October 27, 1944, in San Saba, Menard County, Texas to Juan Gonzales and Guadalupe Morales Gonzales. She was a high school teacher.
Sulema is survived by her daughters, Dawn Marie Chmiel and Susan Ann Shelton; three grandchildren; and brother, Juan Gonzales. She is predeceased by her sister, Magdelina Tomlinson.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 3 to 5 pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home with a Memorial service to follow at 5pm in the Jernigan-Warren Chapel.
