Timothy Dewese Locklear, 63, of Fayetteville, NC, died Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Timmy was born in Fayetteville on January 3, 1960, son to the late Fentress Locklear and Magdalene Chavis Locklear. A talented pianist, he loved to sing and play baseball. He was an All State Athlete at South View Senior High School and a member of Cape Fear Baptist Church.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his brothers, Mark Locklear and wife Cathy, of Aberdeen, NC, Jerome Locklear and Keith Locklear, both of Fayetteville, NC; his aunt, Margaret Hunt, of Fayetteville, NC; his cousins Annette, Glenda, Sharee, Laree and Dora; some special friends; and a host of extended family members and friends.
A memorialsService will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2023, at LaFayette Funeral Home located at 6651 Raeford Road, Fayetteville. Pastor Ricky Burnett will be officiating.
