The Child Advocacy Center presents the Child Abuse Summit 2022: Creating Pathways to Promote Resilient Communities on April 28 from 8 a.m to 4:45 p.m. at  the John D. Fuller Sr. Recreational/Athletic Complex, 6627 Old Bunce Road.  Register at  Southern Regional AHEC.

Each year Cumberland County and Fort Bragg community partners collaborate to provide a regional conference to highlight Child Abuse month in April. This year's conference will discuss several topics, including: Effective Communication with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing; Trauma Sensitive Schools; Understanding Patterned Injuries; Accident vs Abuse: Medical Diagnosis of Child Abuse Burns; and Caught in the Middle –Child Abuse and Domestic Violence.
