Bruce Allen Darden, Sr., 77, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022. He was born in Cumberland County in 1945.
Bruce is survived by his son, Bruce A. Darden, Jr. and wife, Angela; two grandsons, Hunter A. Darden and Aaron Kinlaw and wife, Kristina; and three great grandsons, Kobe, Cameron, and Maddox Kinlaw. He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia F. Darden; three brothers, Edward Darden, Carl Darden, and Jimmy Darden; and sister, Barbara Darden.
He was passionate about his family, his Lord, and his church. Bruce was generous to family and friends alike. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
A Visitation will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday, September 26, 2022, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM with Pastor George Hedges officiating. Burial to follow the service at Lafayette Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 3934 Sunnyside School Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28312.
