Christopher Dennis McDonald Jr., 36, of Cameron passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2022.
Christopher was born on October 17, 1985 in Lee County to Gina Sylvester McDonald and the late Christopher Dennis McDonald, Sr. Besides his father, Christopher is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Donna DeAngelis and Felicia McDonald; father-in-law, Barry Garland and his four-legged babies, Meaty, Pebbles, and Tank.
Christopher loved his family and enjoyed making them laugh. His memory will be forever cherished by his mother, Gina McDonald; his fiancé of 16 years, Jamie Garland; two children, Gianna McDonald and Christopher Dennis McDonald, III; Anthony (Cheryl) Comparetta; Bernie (Patty) McDonald; Aaron (Kacie) Garland, Desiree (Eric) Gillespie, Brandon (Judy) Garland; Loren Garland; three nephews; his dog Rambo; numerous cousins to include Josh Hollar, who was more like a brother; aunts, uncles, and hundreds of friends.
Christopher had a big heart for his children, both human and four legged. He was very talented and knowledgeable when it came to mechanics. He could fix anything and was a man of many talents from framing houses to solving complex mechanical issues. He could typically be found working and tinkering in his shop or spending time at the race track. He enjoyed having gatherings so he could fire up the grill and cook for his family and friends. Most of all, he was a family man that loved his children unconditionally. He was truly a good man and he will be missed dearly by all those who loved him.
