City offices to close in observance of Juneteenth holiday

Fayetteville city offices will be closed on Monday in observance of Juneteenth.
The Police Department, Solid Waste Department, Fayetteville Regional Airport, transit system, and parks and recreation facilities are included, according to a news release:.

The Police Department's main station front lobby and records unit at 467 Hay Street will be closed Monday.

Monday’s garbage and yard waste will be collected Wednesday. Recycling will be collected Monday as usual

Administrative offices at Fayetteville Regional Airport will be closed Monday. Visit flyfay.com for airline contact information or to make reservations.

The Fayetteville Area System of Transit will operate on its normal schedule, 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Monday,.

Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks & Recreation dministrative offices will be closed Monday. Recreation centers will operate on the abbreviated schedule of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parks, trails and green spaces will remain open and accessible to the public.

Splash pads will be on normal schedules, and pools will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
