City seeks applicants for expanded Millennial Advisory Commission

The Fayetteville City Council recently approved the expansion of the Millennial Advisory Commission from 13 to 30 members, according to a city news release.

Applications are open for “a diverse and optimistic group of individuals” between ages 19 and 39 to serve on the commission, the release said. There are currently 15 vacancies.

The Millennial Advisory Commission is tasked with providing the City Council with input on issues and opportunities to help keep young professionals and millennials engaged in the community, according to the release.

Meetings are held monthly.

Applications are being taken through Oct. 31 at fayettevillenc.gov/city-council/boards-and-commissions.
