The deadline for the 2024 annual property tax listing period is Jan. 31: Listing forms must be updated, signed, and returned and must be postmarked by the U.S. Postal Service no later than Jan. 31 to avoid the 10% late listing penalty.
To obtain listing forms online, go to cumberlandcountync.gov/tax and click on the Forms and Publications portal. Forms may also be obtained in person at the Tax Administration office located on the fifth floor of the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Cumberland County Courthouse, located at 117 Dick St., Fayetteville.
Completed listing forms may be mailed to Cumberland County Tax Administration, P.O. Box 449, Fayetteville, NC 28302, or delivered in person to Room 530 in the Courthouse.
Secure drop boxes at the Courthouse are another contactless option for submitting tax listings and forms. There is an outdoor secure drop box located outside the Courthouse in the rear parking lot facing Cool Spring and Russell Streets. A secure drop box is also located inside the Courthouse at Tax Administration, Room 530.
