The seventh annual Dog Day in the Garden, a joint fundraiser for the garden and the Fayetteville Animal Protection Society, is scheduled for May 1 from noon to 5 p.m. The garden is at 536 N. Eastern Blvd.
Activities include door prizes for the first 250 people, raffles, vendors, food trucks, a cash bar, a photo booth, a doggy obstacle course, nail trimming, a blood drive, live music by Whiskey Pines and more.
FAPS will have adoptable dogs at the garden.
The event is free for garden members and included in daily admission for non-members.
