On Wednesday just before noon, Fayetteville police officers responded to a report of human skeletal remains on the wooded area along the 3900 block of Bragg Boulevard, the Fayetteville Police Department said on Facebook Wednesday.
Officers found the remains that had been there for an extended time, according to the Police Department.
The Homoicide Unit is working closely with the Raleigh Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.
