Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Homicide Unit are investigating a homicide that took place in the 800 block of Broadmore Drive on Tuesday evening.
The victim has been identified as 40-year-old Demonta McKoy. His family has been notified.
On Tuesday, Nov. 21, at approximately 11:50 p.m., officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to the 800 block of Broadmore Drive to reports of shots fired. Upon arriving on scene, officers located one male, in front of the home. He was pronounced deceased on scene.
This is an active investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
