Christmas carols, classical music and jazz will enhance your holiday spirit as the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra presents three performances beginning Friday.
“Holiday Brass” is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday at Haymount United Methodist Church, 1700 Fort Bragg Road.
The performance is open to the public, and tickets are $5 to $32. For ticket information, go to the symphony's website.
The program will include Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker Suite,” Leontovich’s “Carol of the Bells,” “The Little Drummer Boy”' and “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel,'” among others, according to the symphony’s website.
On Saturday, the symphony will team with Cumberland Choral Arts to present Handel’s “Messiah.”
The performance will be at 7:30 p.m. at Berean Baptist Church, 517 Glensford Drive. Admission is free.
The orchestra’s jazz ensemble will present “Symphony on Tap: Holiday Music” at 7 p.m. Dec. 16 at Dirty Whiskey Craft Cocktail Bar, 5431 Corporation Drive in Hope Mills. Admission is free.
