Fentanyl, cocaine, marijuana seized in search of Rim Road home

A months-long narcotics investigation resulted in the seizure of nearly 170 grams of illegal drugs and the arrest of two men, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

On Thursday, the department’s Narcotics/Vice Suppression Unit obtained a warrant to search a residence in the 1700 block of Rim Road, according to a news release. Investigators seized:

  • 27.3 grams of Fentanyl. 
  • 18 grams of cocaine.
  • 124 grams of marijuana.
  • A 9 mm handgun. 

Michael Herman, 26, was charged with two counts of trafficking in Fentanyl; possession with intent to sell or distribute cocaine; and maintaining a dwelling for drug sales, the news release said. 

Herman was issued a $50,000 secured bond. 

Christopher Herman, 42, was charged with possession with intent to sell or distribute marijuana. 

Herman received a $2,500 unsecured bond.
