The Cumberland County Clerk of Superior Court's Office hosted a Flapjack fundraiser for SMA on August 9th. The event was held at Applebee's and the Cumberland County Clerk's Office served as the waitstaff. Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) is a degenerative condition that causes weakness and wasting of voluntary muscles in infants and young children. SMA is the leading genetic killer in infants and children. August is SMA awareness month. Great pancakes served by some great people for a great cause!!
