Gardenmania is scheduled for May 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m at Cape Fear Botanical Garden, 536 N. Eastern Blvd. Admission is free.
The event will feature presentations on gardening topics of interest to all levels of gardeners. Bryce Lane, a former host of the Emmy-winning UNC-TV public television show “In the Garden With Bryce Lane,” is the keynote speaker. He will lead two seminars on container gardening.
Sustainable Sandhills' Farmers Market will include vendors like Ferrell Watson Farm, All About Homemade and Kenzie Creations. There also will be a plant sale and activities for children.
