James Adolph Parker, Jr., 80 years old, of Fayetteville passed away on January 30, 2024. Born on August 13, 1943, to the late Dorothy Dupree Parker and James Adolph Parker, Sr.
James was preceded in death by his parents, son, Richard Kevin Parker; son, James Adolph Parker, III.; and his sister, Carolyn Smith. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Brenda Parker; sons, Phillip Parker, and Neal Parker; grandsons, Kristopher, and Kolby; granddaughters, Jessica, Kristin, and Briley; and his seven great grandchildren, Aurora, Braylynn, Cayden, Dakota, Parker, Ryder, and Gianna.
A man of profound love for his family and a sincere passion for country music, James touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. His warmth, affection, and the indelible mark he left on those around him will be profoundly felt, and his memory will be treasured by many.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 10:45 to 11:45 am. A Funeral service will be held at 12 pm in the Rogers and Breece Chapel. Burial to follow the service at Lafayette Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Foundation of First Health Cancer Center at 150 Apple Cross Rd Pinehurst, NC 27873, in James’ honor.
