James Douglas Gunter, 77, of 671 Walker Street, Fayetteville, passed away on Friday, February 09, 2024.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 1pm at New Mission Missionary Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Burial will be on Thursday at 10am at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Fort Liberty.
He is survived by his wife, Sallie Gunter of the home. His children, Christopher and Natasha, both of Fayetteville and Karen of Texas. Sisters, Jimmie, Marilyn, Fraces, and Virginia, all of Texas, along with three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday, from 12-1pm, prior to the service.
