Leonard Lynch, 73, of Fayetteville passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Transitions Hospice Care in Raleigh with his family by his side.

Leonard was born on August 25, 1950, in Halifax County, to the late Oliver Lynch and Magnora Person Lynch. He was the owner and operator of Lynch’s Commercial Refrigeration and received the Service Award on the North Carolina Refrigeration Board 2012-2016.

Leonard loved traveling, especially to his beach house at Emerald Isle where he enjoyed fishing.  In his earlier years he could be found tinkering with speed cars or hunting. His greatest love was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 15, at 1 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Chapel. Entombment will follow at Cumberland Memorial Garden Mausoleum.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Anne Lynch Woodson; and a sister, Vivian Odell Booth.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Stacie D. Lynch; stepsons, Brandon Chandler, and Joshua Chandler (Megan); sisters, Curtee Richardson, Selma Richardson, Velma Silver (Raymond); brothers, Oliver Lynch (Faye), George Lynch (Edith); grandchildren, Nicholas Woodson, Maisie Chandler, and Jace Chandler;  mother-in-law, Shanna Dew; aunt, Verty Lynch; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
