Looking for a free Thanksgiving meal? Here’s where to find one in Fayetteville

The holiday season is here, and for many, that means gatherings with family and big meals. This week, if you're alone or interested in partaking in one of the no-charge Thanksgiving meals being offered to the public, here's where to find them: 

Wednesday, Nov. 22 

  • Rivers International Church, at 113 Foch St., will be serving a Thanksgiving meal from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, contact 910-670-1354.

Thursday, Nov. 23 

  • Growing2Serve Outreach Ministry is serving a meal and handing out clothing from noon to 4 p.m. in the parking lot of the Day Resource Center at 128 S. King St.
  • We Are One Big Family and Kraken Skulls will host a Thanksgiving meal from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kraken Skulls compound at 822 Shannon Dr. Delivery is available by calling 910-708-0205.
  • LB LYFE Clothing and the Marcus Doss Salon are handing out Thanksgiving meals from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 421 Maiden Ln. For more information, contact 305-898-0626. 
  • We Are One Big Family will distribute meals from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Spring Lake Middle School, located at 612 Spring Ave. This event is drive-thru style and delivery is available for those who call 910-587-7888 or 910-401-8151.
  • Operation Turkey Fayetteville will have meals from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the following locations:
    • Fayetteville Chapter 82nd Airborne Division Association — 606 Johnson St. 
    • H8ters — 2926 Ft. Bragg Rd. 
    • Cedar Falls Baptist Church — 6181 Ramsey St.
    • Cliffdale Church — 6427 Cliffdale Rd. 
    • Boys and Girls Club of Cumberland County — 3475 Cumberland Rd.
    • Spring Lake Recreation Center — 245 Ruth St. 
    • G.B. Myers Recreation Center — 1018 Rochester Dr.
    • Azalea Manor Apartments — 230 Lincoln Dr. 
    • Cypress Manor Apartments — 217 Lincoln Dr. 
    • Colvin Funeral Home — 2010 Murchison Rd. 
    • The Shops at Boone Trail Center — Boone Trail Exd.
    • Strickland Bridge Shopping Center — 6575 Fisher Rd. 
    • Hope Mills Town Hall — 5770 Rockfish Rd.
    • Warrenwood Elementary School — 4618 Rosehill Rd. 
    • Boys & Girls Club Spring Lake — 245 Ruth St. 
    • Marcus Doss Salon — 2203 Southern Ave.

    • Epicenter Church — 2512 Fort Bragg Rd.

    • Operation Blessing — 1337 Ramsey St.
