What’s your motivation for seeking office? The motivation for seeking office derives from the desire to enhance the quality of life for the residents of the district, Cumberland County, and the state of North Carolina. The goal is to help provide resources that will empower the people of North Carolina.

What uniquely qualifies you to serve? I am a Cumberland County native and lifetime resident of North Carolina, N.C. House District 42 is my home. From an early age, our parents instilled in us the importance of being productive members of the community, and exemplified how we must invest in our community. I am running to represent Cumberland County in the N.C. House of Representatives District 42 to continue that investment.

I would promote positive change by exploring innovative ways to enhance the economic viability of the district through attracting industry and creating employment opportunities that will enhance the quality of life for residents of the district.

What new policies or practices would you bring to your municipality/district that do not already exist? Although I realize plans for the implementation of effective policies will require an evaluation of the current status of initiatives in government, I would prioritize policies and practices that would enhance the delivery of mental health services for residents of district and the county.
