The North Carolina Immigration Law and Justice Center, a nonprofit organization based in Fayetteville, will hold its second annual holiday soiree Friday in honor of National Immigrants Day.
The ticketed event will feature live music, a silent auction, international food, and entertainment by dancers from Colombia. Doors open at 6 p.m. at Volta Space, located at 116 Person St.
Proceeds from the event will support N.C.-ILJ's mission to provide affordable legal aid — including free legal consultations and low-cost legal representation — to immigrants, refugees and aslyum-seekers in North Carolina. The nonprofit was founded in 2019, known at the time as the Fayetteville Justice for our Neighbors.
The cost of attenance for Friday's event is $60 for one party-goer and $100 for two people. Other ticket packages are available online.
