In Terry Sanford’s season-opening 14-2 win over Jack Britt, Porter allowed one goal and recorded an 80 percent save rate. She was a first team all-conference selection last season.

In Terry Sanford’s second match of the season, Horne earned medalist honors with a nine-hole score of 36 at the Carolina Lakes course. Horne ranks third in the overall individual standings with 75. He’s one shot back of co-leaders Michael Snyder of Harnett Central and Ethan Paschal of Terry Sanford, both with 74. After two matches the Bulldogs are leading the All American Conference standings with 302 strokes to 329 for second-place Harnett Central.
