Public Works Exhibition celebrates artwork by community, for community

The PWC Public Works Exhibition is on display through July 22 at the Arts Center, 301 Hay St. in  downtown Fayetteville, according to a news release. Admission is free.

Curated by Ellington-White Community Development Corp., the exhibit welcomed artists of any age or background to submit culturally enriched visual artwork, the release said.

The collection of art on display is diverse in nature, featuring techniques such as 2D and 3D paintings, drawings, printmaking, photography, sculpture, ceramics, and more, Each artist had the creative freedom to select subject matter.

“This exhibit offers a fair opportunity for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to publicly express their artistic talents,” said Bob Pinson, president and CEO of the Arts Council. of Fayetteville-Cumberland County.
