Reid Ross Classical High School Principal Tyson Johnson praised his students’ perseverance in difficult times during the 2023 commencement on Wednesday.

Wednesday was the fourth and final day of the district’s graduation marathon.

Ceremonies were held at the Crown Coliseum.

Over the past two weeks, the district has celebrated 17 commencements with more than 3,500 students walking across the stage to receive their diplomas, according to a news release.

“Today, we are sitting in the midst of excellence as our graduating scholars have proven not only to be brilliant, but resilient,” Johnson said from the podium. “Graduates, despite experiences and various changes and challenges, you have epitomized perseverance and, therefore, provided us with the privilege to celebrate you today.”
