Mr. Robert Steven “Stevie” Cooper, 45, of Fayetteville, departed this world to be with his Heavenly Father Thursday September 1, 2022.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 2pm at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Cummings, Rev. Jerry Groves, and Rev. Ronnie Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12-2pm at Jernigan- Warren.

Stevie created a life for himself and Pamela, his beloved wife of 10 years. Pam was Stevie’s soul mate and he made that known to all. The most important thing in Stevie’s life was family. He never met a stranger and would not think twice about lending a helping hand to those in need. Stevie had a large family and many friends that he called family. He is known well for his love for the UNC Tarheels and his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was also known for his big smile that could light up any room and the hearts of many. His hugs were ever flowing and his love for all was known very well.

He is preceded in death by grandparents William Groves, Henry Cooper, and Inez Cooper.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his beloved wife Pamela Melvin Cooper; his parents Robert and Vickie Cooper; brother Patrick Cooper (Tammy) and Jason Cooper (Colleen); Grandmother Mary Agnes Groves, father- in- law Larry Melvin; mother- in- law Janet Melvin; sister- in- law Deanna Melvin; brother- in- law Greg Melvin (Karin); nieces Amy Cooper, Mallory Nichols, Kayla Melvin, Kaitlyn Melvin, Claire Cooper and Harper Cooper; Nephews  Bradley Cooper, Zach Melvin, Oliver Cooper, and JJ Cooper; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends he called family.
